Maurice Eugene (Skip) Reynolds, KHS 1951, School Board (1983-2002)

Maurice ‘Skip’ Reynolds of Avondale Maurice ‘Skip’ Reynolds, 79, of Avondale, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital.

He was the husband of Barbara Grey Reynolds, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in West Grove, he was the son of the late Maurice A. and Helena Zimmermann Reynolds.

Skip was owner of Bunny’s Cree Mee Freeze on Route 41 in Avondale.

He attended the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Mendenhall.

He was a member of the New London Gun Club, the Kennett Masonic Lodge No. 475, the London Grove Grange and a lifetime member of the Avondale Fire Company. He was a past member of the Kennett School Board.

Skip enjoyed travelling, going to the mountains, working with kids and being with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Mike Reynolds of Avondale, and one daughter, Michelle Reynolds of Parkesburg.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 6 to 8 on Monday evening, April 15, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning, April 16, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square.

His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Longwood Cemetery, Kennett Square.
